To ensure the highest level of instruction the student/ instructor ratio is kept low in the dojo. In doing so we concentrate a lot of energy on all our members and help them to progress within the Tomiki Aikido Grading Syllabus.
Due to the size of the Dojo, we can have a maximum of 16 students per class.
The adult classes are open to both males and females aged 16 and over. Our Junior classes are open to boys and girls aged 5 - 10 years old and our Youth classes are open to students aged 10 - 16.
There is always at least one instructor in every class.
Money recieved from subs/ sponsorship is invested back into the dojo.
We are approved by the Irish Martial Arts Commission (IMAC). IMAC is an Irish Sports Council recognised National Governing Body for Martial Arts.
Our instructors are registered coaches with IMAC and hold the IMAC "Garda Vetting" Certificate processed through the National Garda Vetting Unit.
We are affiliated to the All Ireland Tomiki Aikido Federations (ZATAR), and the British Aikido Association (BAA). We are also recognised by the Japan Aikido Association (JAA).
